"I wanted a comfortable and compact bag that would snugly fit a trio of lenses for flexible shooting options. I also did not want the bag to scream expensive camera gear inside. The 18L in sage fits my needs better than I could ever imagine. I swapped a leading brand 30L bag for this 18L bag and can carry the exact same amount of gear. It's very well made and sturdy. "I thought my list of "wants" in a camera bag would be impossible to obtain, then I found the Luma! I don't have time to gush, or I would, but I can share the highlights. The Luma is a very well designed bag of superior quality. The exterior looks slick, but the 900D PolyOx seems indestructible and shows minimal wear. I haven't had it long, but so far it's stable on a hardside wheelie handle, stays upright for access, slides under the plane seat with a push of the foot and wipes clean(I have the bag in black). The dividers are amazing!! They are rigid enough to effectively support my mirrorless and extra lens, yet they are flexible and soft to the touch. The top shelf divider and top access point, make this bag exactly what I was looking for, complete adjustability to make this the only bag I need to carry. No purse on the plane needed and no additional "bag" for day trips. Personal items for any type of day fit in the top section that you can size to meet your needs and access without opening the entire bag. No digging for anything! The camera is easily accessed for spontaneous shots from the side access point. This is not from a professional pov, but someone who wanted the ability to carry the necessary items in one bag for travel and not feel like I was sacrificing flexibility or items I needed to take with me. Useful and thoughtful zippered storage inside and out and zippered protected area for iPad. Being female, chest straps are never an attractive option, but the adjustability is a must. Love that the water bottle pocket is magnetic and will lay flat when not in use(it's also perfect for my mini umbrella) Being short I tend to dart in and out of crowds, in cities and the airport, and the slim profile and fit of this bag make it possible! The Luma for me is like having Hermione's bag and not looking like Mary Poppins! Thank you Nomatic!"
"I have severe arthritis, and my hands are deformed. I have spent over $1000 on camera bags, from slings to backpacks. The Nomatic Luma 18L is small enough like the Peak Design Everyday Zip 15L, but packs a lot more gear, and the nothing rattles around. The straps aren't as thick as the Wandrd Prvke 21L, but it's not thin or flimsy by any means. I find it to be just right. I just can't figure out how to get a Peak Design Capture Clip onto the straps though. It's lightweight, comfortable on my back. I fanboyed over this thing so much I actually made an 8 minute review on Youtube lol. It's not perfect. I wish the zipper pulls were more like Peak Design or Wandrd, where they have loops, and it's much easier on my hands. The interior section with the mesh pockets, I wish the zippers had actual zipper pulls or loops instead of tabs. But the tabs do look more aesthetic, so I get it. It's not my everyday bag, because I'm physically challenged so I have to go with a sling for everyday carry. But this bag is awesome for day trips or for days I need to carry a bit more gear. I'm currently trying to decide between buying a Luma 12L or a Peter McKinnon 13L for days I just can't physically put a backpack on my shoulders. Probably the Peter McKinnon 13L lol, because the Luma 12 kinda looks like a lunchbox to me."

"This bag has become my everyday workhorse for school. I’m able to easily carry a full frame Sony A7IV with a 35mm GM attached and a 24-70mm GM along with a few art supplies for a painting and ceramics class. This bag has also made a great travel companion when paired up with the 35l backpack and 8L sling. The 35L makes the perfect carry-on bag to carry the bulk of my camera equipment, the 8L sling and clothes. I then used the 18L Luma to carry some of the bigger equipment on my day to day outings and the 8L sling for run and gun."
"Camera bags are always a compromise. There’s always something that doesn’t quite deliver either immediately or over time. The attraction with this bag is the sleeker size whilst being able to carry big. Big as in a 150-600 attached to a camera, easy access via the full opening flap and big as in still able to additionally fit another couple of lenses, accessories and a laptop without being weighty and distorted. The option to carry a tripod in the middle of the bag means that weight distribution is balanced and evenly spread so that it can be worn for a lengthy period without fatigue and with comfort. The organisation options are wide and suit all subjective needs in terms of how to pack your gear and how to access your gear. "Only reason it is 4 and not 5 stars is because of the base. It is not flat, hence causing a lot of frustration after a few uses as the bag has problems standing upright without falling off. Not sure if its a manufacturing issue or design problem."

"So I need to caveat this by saying this is actually my second Luma 18L and I did win this through a Nomatic giveaway. That being said, I love the form factor of the Luma 18L so much that adding a second one to my arsenal (in a different color) was more than welcomed. I initially bought this bag during the kickstarter in the Rust color. With orange being my favorite color it was a no brainer. I took this bag on 13 flights in a 3 week span and it did phenomenally because its size allowed for the easy tucking under the seat in front of me just as much as it taking up very little room in the overhead storage. During the leisure part of our travels, I took this bag to numerous theme parks and even while fully loaded with camera gear and personal items, the bag never hurt my back. The design of the bag is so well thought out and simplistic at the same time. When I realized that the 18L Luma fit more of my camera gear in a better format than my 25L PM bag, I was stunned. The dividers make it very easy to have a spot for everything well laid out and compartmentalized. The reason I was so keen on adding the second bag to the collection was because I was not able to carry the Rust colored bag while in military uniform. I wanted this bag to replace my 35L for everyday use but the color was not authorized for uniform wear and appearance. So when I won the second bag I was ecstatic to get the complete Black color. This bag is a definite buy for those looking to carry their camera equipment with them where ever they go, but don't want a sore back or to stand out in a crowd of people with a sign saying "I have thousands of dollars worth of equipment in my bag!!" 10/10 would recommend!"
